Step by step cleaning with August Race
Liquid RIB and LR Sealer Coat
How to clean your PVC or hypalon dinghy or RIB?
Step 1. Liquid RIB is specially designed to give dirty hypalon and PVC tubes a new finish. It removes salt deposits, dirt and oxidation. Instruction: Spray directly onto the surface and wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth with a swirling motion, then rinse with clean water. Step 2. We recommend treating the boat with LR Sealer Coat afterwards. This creates an invisible coating on the tubes. This means you don’t have to clean the tubes as often, you just need to rinse the tubes with clean water. Instruction: Use sparingly. 1. Clean the surface to be treated with August Race Liquid RIB and let it dry 2. Apply to a lint-free cloth (in non-direct sunlight) and wipe the tube to get an even coverage, then polish for a high gloss finishing 3. reapply if necessary.

Bright Coat and Smooth Opacity Polish
Cleaning stains of the gelcoat of the hull.
Step 1. August Race Bright Coat is a powerful and fast-acting stain remover for gel coats. It removes the brown yellow deposits on the polyester hull in an instant. Instruction: Apply a thin layer to the gelcoat with a soft brush and let it work for up to 60 minutes, depending on the degree of staining. Step 2. After Bright Coat, Due to its high strength we recommend treating the boat with Smooth Opacity Polish this also helps to protect against future stains. This is a cleaning wax especially for a deep treatment of the gelcoat, it restores the shine and protects against UV rays. Instruction: Wipe the surface with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and polish to a glossy finish.

Liquid RIB – RIB & INFLATABLE CLEANER
Liquid RIB is able to clean both hypalon and PVC RIB floats to an unparalleled standard, often with an “as new” finish, bringing your RIB back to life. Liquid RIB gives truly amazing results by gently working deep into the surface to remove salt deposits, dirt and oxidation. We recommend using August Race LR Sealer coat to protect your dinghy or RIB after treating it with Liquid RIB.
LR Sealer Coat
August Race LR Sealer Coat is a semi-permanent crosslinking polymer coating formulated to prevent water spots on inflatable RIB floats and protect against UV and bird pollution. LR Sealer coat gives a silky finish to floats and can even be used on fabric impression fabrics. It is environmentally friendly and 100% biodegradable. In combination with Liquid RIB, it is sufficient to use this per boating season.
Bright Coat
August Race Bright Coat is a powerful and fast acting stain remover for gel coats. Capable of removing most yellowing, rust stains, water marks and mud-staining.
Due to its high strength we recommend to re-polish following treatment using AR Smooth Opacity Polish this also helps to protect against future stains.

Smooth Opacity UV – Protective UV Wax
August Race Smooth Opacity Polish is a cleaning wax especially for a deep treatment of the gelcoat your RIB. The deep-treating fluid applied UV wax polish with unrivalled ease-of-use it restores gloss to dull surfaces and helps to protect against UV rays.

August Race Vinyl Bright restores tired looking vinyl upholstery in one quick step and often leaves them as good as new. Super easy to use.
Liquid RIB UV
Liquid Rib UV is a conditioning / protective UV treatment for older or (UV) damaged PVC or Hypalon tubes. This provides long-lasting protection against both salt and UV damage. To be applied extremely sparingly Liquid Rib UV will quickly absorb into the tube fabric to give great results that can last up to 1 year. Liquid Rib UV is an annual/bi-annual treatment. We recommend using Liquid Rib to clean and revitalize the tubes before using Liquid Rib UV for conditioning and protection. And for the best results, apply LR Sealer Coat afterwards.

August Race Spot Off low-foaming mould spot remover for use on a variety of surfaces including inflatable boat (RIB) tubes, vinyl upholstery and paint. Less aggressive than conventional bleaching agents, Spot Off gives amazing results fast.
